We do not collect any personal information. The Extension does not require an
account, does not ask for any personal details, and does not include any
analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party data-collection tools.
Tab Recordings
When you start a recording, the Extension captures the visible contents of the
browser tab you choose and encodes it into a video file. This recording is
created and processed entirely on your own device and is saved directly to your
computer as a download. Your recordings are never uploaded, sent to us, or
transmitted to any server or third party. We never see, receive, or have access
to your recordings or to the pages you record.
Settings Storage
The Extension saves your chosen preferences (such as video format, scroll style,
timing, delay, and return-to-top options) using Chrome's local storage on your
device. This information stays on your device, is used only to remember your
settings between sessions, and is never transmitted off your device.
Permissions
The Extension requests only the permissions necessary to record the active tab
while it auto-scrolls and to save the result to your device (including
activeTab, tabCapture, scripting, offscreen, downloads, and storage). These
permissions are used solely to provide the Extension's core functionality and
are not used to collect or share data.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer any user data to third parties, because
we do not collect any user data.
Children's Privacy
The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including
children.
